The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has recognized Senator Michele Brooks as a 2024 Guardian of Small Business. This award highlights her strong support for Pennsylvania's small business sector. Brooks, representing the 50th district, is one of five state senators to receive this honor, attributed to her perfect voting record on legislation favoring small business growth and job creation.

This recognition comes alongside Pennsylvania's recent observance of Small Business Saturday. The event celebrated nearly 1.1 million small businesses in the state, which constitute 99.6% of all enterprises and employ about 2.5 million residents.

"I am deeply honored to receive this award and remain committed to partnering with our job creators to strengthen Pennsylvania’s economy," stated Brooks. She emphasized the significance of Small Business Saturday in recognizing local businesses' contributions and hoped it would encourage more Pennsylvanians to support them.
