U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) will hold a telephone town hall meeting on Tuesday, July 9, to discuss benefits and issues relevant to military veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. The event will feature experts from the Department of Veteran Affairs and Veteran Service Officers from counties throughout Pennsylvania's 16th Congressional District.
Participants in the call can expect to gain valuable information about benefits and services available to them. "The men and women who serve in our Armed Forces have sacrificed so much for our great country. This town hall will provide them with more information to make sure they receive the benefits and assistance they have earned," said Rep. Kelly.
According to U.S. Census data, nearly one in seventeen residents in Pennsylvania's 16th Congressional District is a military veteran.
