Rep. Mike Kelly, currently serving in the U.S. Congress and representing Pennsylvania’s 16th district, has made several statements on social media recently. The following paragraphs detail each of his tweets on various issues of public concern.

On April 14, 2025, Rep. Mike Kelly commented on an incident involving political violence, expressing his disapproval of such actions. He extended his support to Governor Shapiro and his family, mentioning the religious observance they were partaking in. "Political violence is unacceptable in any form. On April 15, 2025, Rep. Kelly recognized Crawford County Treasurer Christine Krzysiak for her extensive public service, honoring her as the latest 16th Congressional District Community Champion. Krzysiak has held her role since 2011 and her association with Crawford County dates back even further. In another statement made on April 15, 2025, Rep. Kelly highlighted his legislative work, discussing the Neighborhood Homes Investment Act. This piece of legislation aims to contribute to the housing sector by promoting the construction and maintenance of over 500,000 affordable homes over ten years. "The Neighborhood Homes Investment Act is projected to build and preserve more than 500,000 affordable, single-family homes for homeownership over the next ten years in under-resourced communities." Mike Kelly has been in the U.S. Congress since 2011, replacing Kathy Dahlkemper. Born in 1948 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kelly is an alumnus of the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated in 1970 with a BA. He currently resides in Butler.
