U.S. Representative Mike Kelly is set to host a live telephone town hall on February 12, 2025, aimed at aiding constituents during the 2025 tax filing season. As Chairman of the Ways & Means Subcommittee on Tax, Rep. Kelly will be joined by officials from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS), also known as the Office of the Taxpayer Advocate.
"The goal of this tele-town hall is to help constituents across Pennsylvania's 16th Congressional District file their taxes effectively and efficiently from the comfort of their own home," stated Rep. Kelly. He further emphasized the challenges that navigating federal government processes can present, particularly when it comes to tax filing. "I encourage anyone who has questions or who is in need of assistance to join us to learn more."
