U.S. Representative Mike Kelly, a Republican from Pennsylvania, was sworn into office for the 119th Congress at a ceremony held at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. Kelly, representing Butler, secured re-election in November with 63.7% of the vote against his opponent's 36.3%. This marks his eighth term serving in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Rep. Kelly expressed his gratitude and commitment to his constituents: "I'm honored to once again serve the incredible people of Pennsylvania's 16th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives," he stated. He highlighted key priorities for House Republicans, including addressing government spending, inflation, border security, and restoring American prominence domestically and internationally. "I look forward to having President Trump and his America First policies back in the White House. Let's get to work!" he added.

In addition to taking office, Rep. Kelly endorsed Rep. Mike Johnson from Louisiana for Speaker of the House during this congressional session.
