Senator Michele Brooks has announced the allocation of $500,000 for an improvement project in Lawrence County. The funding is provided through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), which is managed by the Office of the Budget to support regional economic and cultural projects.

"This project to modernize the Wright Building is a big step toward reaching the goal of offering new business and residential opportunities for downtown New Castle," stated Brooks. She expressed her appreciation for collaborating with the Redevelopment Authority of Lawrence County and DON Enterprises on this initiative.

The grant will assist DON Enterprises, Inc. in completing the Union Station Crossing Wright Building Revitalization project. The renovation plans include storm water management upgrades, parking lot improvements, and installation of new interior walls and flooring.
