Wentling announces grants for municipalities in Pennsylvania’s 7th district

Rep. Parke Wentling of Mercer has announced that municipalities within the 7th Legislative District will receive over $150,000 in grants. These funds are distributed under Act 13 of 2012.

Wentling expressed his enthusiasm for the impact these funds could have on local communities. “I am excited about the many ways in which this funding can be used by our local municipalities to support projects that will benefit their residents,” he stated.

The allocations include $43,308 for Shenango Township and $62,129 for Lackawannock Township. Other beneficiaries include West Middlesex Borough with $602, Sharon with $4,199, Sharpsville Borough with $1,332, and several other townships and boroughs receiving varying amounts.
