Rep. Tim Bonner announced that Perry Township has been awarded a $100,000 grant to replace a culvert on Plant Road. The funding is provided by the Commonwealth Financing Authority's Multimodal Transportation Fund, which supports economic development and transportation safety in Pennsylvania.
Bonner expressed his approval of the township's efforts, stating, "Investing in infrastructure, like culverts, is an investment in the safety, sustainability, and future of our communities." He emphasized that proper funding now can prevent costly repairs and disasters later.
The Multimodal Transportation Fund is part of the Commonwealth Financing Authority's programs aimed at boosting economic growth while ensuring a safe transportation network across the state.
