Kennedy Catholic High School issued the following announcement on May 12.

Hello SJPII Families-

Happy Mother’s Day to all our wonderful SJPII Moms! I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful sunshine today! We have a busy and important week ahead of us at SJPII. Please find the Little Eagle Newsletter for this school week Here.

Our End of the Year Assessments will be going on throughout the course of the week. It is very important that students are present each day and on time. This data is very imperative as we plan for the 2022-2023 school year as well as provide you with Summer goals to work with your students on.

-Acadience Reading and Math Assessments will be given for K-2 students.

-NWEA Map Growth Assessments will be given for students in 3rd through 6th in the content areas of Reading, Math, Science, Writing, and Language Usage. Make-Up assessments will be arranged as needed for the following week.

We are still experiencing a number of students who are tardy daily. Letters are being sent home with Progress Reports. Consequences will be given for continued tardiness.  If your child is arriving late, they are required to turn an excuse into the office. Ex. A doctor’s excuse. Students who do not present an excuse will be marked as an unexcused tardy.

A reminder that there will NOT be a Future Nurses of America meeting this week. Students in the club should turn their permission slips and $5.00 to Mrs. Perrico for the upcoming field trip. Any questions, please email Mrs. Perrico at kcnurse@kennedycatholicschools.org.

May God bless you and your families.

Educationally Yours,

Mrs. Kathryn Tiefenthal

SJPII Principal
