City of Sharon recently issued the following announcement.
The Sharon Zoning Hearing Board will hold two Public Hearings on March 31, 2022, at 6:30 PM in Council Chambers at the Sharon Municipal Building, 155 W. Connelly Blvd Sharon, PA 16146.
The first Public Hearing is regarding an appeal from Custom Signs & Lighting, Inc on behalf of Rite Aid, appealing Zoning Ordinance Section 504, for a variance at the property at 811 E State Street, Zoning District C-2. The request is to receive a variance for an electronic board/sign to educate patrons on sale items and vaccine events taking place in the store.
The second Public Hearing is regarding an appeal from Diehl Automotive Group, Inc, appealing Zoning Ordinance Section 401 and Section 407.2(g) and Section 407.2(h), for a variance at the property at 1300 E State Street for a nonconforming use in a R-1 Zoning District and ordinances regarding off-street parking, Zoning District R-2. The request is to receive a variance to construct a new building to continue existing use that it currently occupies a portion of the lot that is zoned R-1.
