Kennedy Catholic High School issued the following announcement on Jan. 9.
The COVID-19 Isolation and Quarantine Guidelines have been updated by the CDC and the PA Department of Health. Our school system has updated our guidelines to reflect those changes. The updated document has been attached to this email for your reference. At this time, all other protocols for Covid safety and mitigation in our schools remain in place, including universal masking. A reminder from our school nurse, Mrs. Perrico, that individuals with pending Covid test results should not be in school until the results have been submitted to the nurse. Also, if an individual is notified that quarantine or isolation is necessary, he/she is not permitted on school property or to attend/participate in school-sponsored or athletic events until the quarantine/isolation period has ended. It is very important that students and staff continue to notify Mrs. Perrico if they are exhibiting symptoms of Covid or have been tested for Covid.
A few reminders for the week ahead:
Tuesday, January 11 – Thursday, January 13 – Acadiance Reading Assessment for Grades K-2
Friday, January 14 – NO SCHOOL (Teacher In-Service)
Monday, January 17 – NO SCHOOL (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day)
We look forward to seeing everyone back in the building tomorrow!
Thank you,
