THIEL COLLEGE: Alumnus Nate Neely ’94 named Haller Enterprise Institute Entrepreneur of the Year

Thiel College issued the following announcement.

Nate Neely ’94, the chief executive officer and owner of Pathways Adolescent Center, was named Thiel College’s 2020 Haller Enterprise Institute Entrepreneur of the Year.

“Entrepreneurs have a different way of viewing the world,” Professor of Business Administration and Accounting and the executive director of the Haller Enterprise Institute Gary Witosky ’79 said. “They support their communities by investing in people, places, and processes. Nate Neely built on the foundation of his Thiel education by successfully developing and expanding several businesses. We celebrate his success as a visionary businessman and leader in the community and region.”

Neely, a member of the Thiel College Board of Trustees, graduated from the College in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Northwest Savings Bank and the Phi Theta Phi alumni. He also serves as an assistant coach for the Oil City High School football team and previously held a position on the Oil City YMCA Board of Directors.

Pathways Adolescent Center is a group home facility offering residential and educational opportunities to at-risk youth. It also provides several counseling services meant to help provide stability to children and families.
