Cost of college went up for all students at Grove City College

Tuition and fees rose 3.9 percent for 2018-19 at Grove City College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $17,930 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $676 more than the $17,254 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 76 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 386 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.7 million and 278 students took out student loans totaling more than $3.5 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,338), 1,572 students used grants or scholarships totaling $10.4 million.
