On March 27, 2025, Kelly emphasized the importance of securing America’s borders in collaboration with the Trump administration. As Co-Chair of the Northern Border Security Caucus, he stated his intention to work with the Trump administration, saying, “We must protect all of America’s borders. As Co-Chair of the Northern Border Security Caucus, I look forward to working with the Trump administration to do just that!”

On March 28, 2025, Kelly introduced the Personal Health Investment Today (PHIT) Act. This legislation is aimed at providing children, particularly those from underserved or low-income communities, opportunities to participate in sports. He expressed his intent to foster critical team-building skills, stating, “This week, I reintroduced the Personal Health Investment Today (PHIT) Act. This legislation gives kids, especially those in underserved or low-income communities, a real chance to play the sport of their choice. It’s also about gaining critical team-building and”

Later that same day, Kelly commented on the Trump Doctrine, expressing his support with a brief statement: “This is the Trump Doctrine at work!”
