On Sunday, March 9, former Sharon High School standout Mikey Rodriques’ current college team, the Youngstown State Penguins, lost 8-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs.

The game took place at John Henry Moss Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Runnin’ Bulldogs this season.

The Penguins’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 3 p.m. at Charles L. Cost Field against Pittsburgh Panthers.
