Rep. Mike Kelly, serving in the U.S. Congress for Pennsylvania’s 16th District since 2011, recently took to social media to express his viewpoints on pressing national economic and policy issues. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kelly has been a Republican congressional representative since succeeding Kathy Dahlkemper. He holds a BA from the University of Notre Dame and resides in Butler.

On April 8, 2025, Kelly tweeted about international market dynamics, citing shifts in U.S. market share. He stated, “For years, the U.S. has given up market share to help other economies grow.
