The 24th Annual Hermitage Holiday Light Parade is scheduled for Saturday, November 19th and will begin promptly at 6:00 PM!  It will begin at the intersection of State Street and Kerrwood Drive and the participants will stage in and around the Hermitage Towne Plaza site.  For the ease of set up – it is strongly recommended that all floats be constructed at this site.  Flatbeds can be ordered through the transportation committee, (724) 981-0800, and can be delivered one day before the parade.  Regardless, all large floats shall be at their designated staging area no later than 4:00 p.m. and all participants shall be at their designated staging area no later than 5:30 p.m.  Participant staging locations and contestant identification numbers will be provided to your parade representative(s) at the mandatory parade staging meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 5:15 PM at the Hermitage Municipal Building, Room #303, 800 North Hermitage Road, Hermitage.

If you request a flatbed from the parade committee and a representative of your organization does not attend the parade staging meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 15, 2022, your flatbed reservation will be cancelled.

Parade directors will be available to assist all participants in lining up.  The parade route will start at North Kerrwood Drive and the corner of East State Street and proceed east, turn left at the traffic light at the Route 18/North Hermitage Road intersection, and end at the Shenango Valley Mall drive intersection.  At this point participants will either: 1.) proceed north on Route 18, turn right into the south high school drive and terminate in the rear parking lot; or 2.) proceed north on Route 18 to an alternate remote location.

It is essential that the responsible contact persons for each parade entry communicate these instructions to their group/participants, and in particular to the parents of young children.
