Kennedy Catholic High School issued the following announcement on June 22.

We are preparing for the fall sports season that will officially begin August 15, 2022, football a week sooner.  ATTACHED is the PIAA sports physical packet.  Pages 1-7 must be completed and signed by the parent/guardian and the student.  Every student participating in a sport will need this completed and handed in by August 10. Please note it CAN NOT be completed prior to June 1 of the current year.  Therefore, if you have already completed a physical please check with your physician. If you need a current one, Med Express and Urgent Care offer them for a small cost.

Summer workouts and conditioning sessions are beginning. These are not mandatory to attend but are a great opportunity to tone up skills or just to learn about the sport. The scheduling will be catered around the availability and attendance of the students so times may change.  Please be sure the coach has contact information.

All KC students grades 9-12 are welcome to attend:

Boys Soccer – Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30-7:00pm beginning 6/28 (grades 7&8 are welcome to attend summer conditioning)

Volleyball – Monday & Wednesday evening 5:30-7:30pm, (Saturday morning TBA) beginning tomorrow 6/20. (The following week will have added days to be determined)

Football –  Workouts on Mondays 3:00 and then various weekly schedules due to league competitions.

Cheerleading – A schedule was coordinated with the team.

Girls Soccer, Girls Tennis, Cross Country & Danceline tryout information will be sent out soon.

REMINDER: The baseball banquet is Thursday, June 23 at 6:00pm in the multi purpose room at the elementary school, Saint John Paul.  You will enter through the back of the school. Contact boosters with any questions.

We hope everyone is off to a great summer!

Janet
