As a new season of Kennedy Catholic Baseball is right around the corner we thought we would update everyone on last year’s graduating seniors playing college sports.

Cord Pocza plays for Thiel and got a double in his first college at bat! He earned his opportunity to see time as a true freshman by being the starting JV catcher and excelling. 4 games into his season.

Stargell Fuhr plays for Lycoming and pitched a scoreless inning of relief (a 4out inning after a dropped 3rd strike) while collecting his first college K giving up no hits.  5 games into his season.

Davey Cochenour plays hockey for Mercyhurst and led his team in both goals (9) and points (15) in his first season.

Kole Tarary plays football for Hiram as a linebacker and special teams player and made 13 tackles and a fumble recovery as a true freshman.

Riley Mastowski plays Junior Hockey in the EHL as a goalie for team Maryland. Riley has had 27 saves making him the number 1 goalie in EHL.

Also the previous years seniors Cody May and Santino Multari also both continued their playing careers. Cody plays baseball for St. Vincent and Santino played a year of hockey for Robert Morris before moving on to play for Toledo Cherokee Jr hockey team this season.

We hope these young men continue their success and can’t wait for this year’s season to start! Play ball!!
