Rep. Mike Kelly Proudly Invests in Infrastructure Project in Butler County

BOYERS, PENNSYLVANIA -- U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) expressed his satisfaction with the progress of a new infrastructure project in Boyers, Butler County, during a recent tour. The $5.2 million sewage and infrastructure project, funded by Community Development Block Grant funding, will benefit 236 area residents, including homes and businesses in Boyers and Marion Township.

"We are proudly investing in infrastructure projects all over Butler County," stated Rep. Kelly, emphasizing the positive impact the project will have on the community. He highlighted how the investment will enhance the quality of life for residents and support local businesses in the region. Rep. Kelly also underscored the collaborative effort involved in the project, stating, "Investing in physical infrastructure like this is an investment in our region's future."

Mark Gordon, Chief of Economic Development and Planning for Butler County, echoed the importance of the infrastructure investment, noting its role in providing necessary services and improving the quality of life for Boyers residents and businesses. Gordon expressed gratitude towards Rep. Kelly and other officials for their dedication to advocating for the community.

The project, which began construction in 2023, is on track to be completed by this summer, further solidifying the commitment to enhancing infrastructure in Butler County.
